Felix-Etienne Lebel

Felix is a Director at Morningside Capital and participates in its Investment Committee.

In addition to his role with Morningside, Felix is the Founder and Managing Partner of Rowanwood Equity, a Toronto-based investment firm.

Prior to this, he spent 13 years at Birch Hill Equity Partners, a leading mid-market private equity fund, where he served as a Partner. During his tenure, Felix was instrumental in sourcing, executing, and exiting transactions, and held active board positions in various companies including Groupe Maskatel (Chair), Sigma Systems, Citron Hygiene (Chair), Harbour Air Seaplanes, and Softchoice Corporation (TSX) (Chair and Lead Independent Director). His investment expertise spans multiple sectors, including facility services, fixed-route logistics, equipment rental, manufacturing, fast transit, telecom, software, and IT solutions.

Before Birch Hill, Felix was with EdgeStone Capital Partners, where he was involved in key investments such as Stephenson’s Rental Services, Porter Airlines, and Eurospec Manufacturing. Earlier in his career, he worked in the Investment Banking division of CIBC World Markets, advising on several high-profile M&A transactions, including the sale of Sico Paints to Akzo Nobel and the sale of Van Houtte to Littlejohn & Co.

Felix holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University (Great Distinction) and is a Charted Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder.
